What's  An Agent

   An "Agent" is an independent entity. 

   Owner of their own business and responsible for finding shippers how have freight to move.

   Then they are responsible to find carriers to haul the freight they received from the shipper.

   As an "Agent" you are not required to hold any authority, bond or insurance. 

   For you are working under the "Brokers" authority, bond and insurance.

   Agent Defined:  A person who is contractually a part of a carrier or shipper organization...

   and performs duties under the organization directions.

   The Agent acts as a dispatcher, salesmen, claim agent, etc. 

    An Agent can work from his/her own office or home.
